Two Rivers Education Centre

The TREC program for junior students (grades 8 – 10) aims to develop students’ academic skills while encouraging positive behaviours in the classroom and beyond. Priority is given to students’ progress toward self-regulation and their development of a positive self-concept. Senior students (grades 11 or 12) are also offered significant social-emotional support as well, but academic achievement is given much more emphasis since students are completing core and elective courses required for high school graduation and the receipt of either the BC Dogwood or Adult Dogwood certificate. Students who have already graduated and are still of school age may also take courses at TREC to upgrade or enhance their grades.  Core courses available at TREC are completed in an independent study format, are created by BC teachers, and are available online or paper-based.  Flexible scheduling is available for senior students who require that, due to personal circumstances that preclude their full-time attendance.

Fraser-Cascade Online Learning and Fraser-Cascade Continuing Education are also administrated at the TREC building.
